Frinoz Dresses Red Flags

  1. Recent Creation: Frinoz’s website was registered on May 16, 2023, which is a common tactic used by scam websites. They create a site, deceive customers for a short period, and then disappear without a trace. This lack of longevity is a significant warning sign.
  2. Suspicious Company: Frinoz is owned by “AIMARK LTD,” a notorious company known for running multiple scam online stores. They have a history of ripping off unsuspecting customers, making it clear that Frinoz cannot be trusted.
  3. Fake Address: Frinoz lists its address as “Chase Business Centre, 39-41 Chase Side, London, United Kingdom, N14 5BP.” However, this address appears to be fake, and many other scam websites have used the same address. It’s a clear indication that the company behind Frinoz is not legitimate.
  4. Lack of Contact Details: Legitimate brands and companies always provide their contact information, including telephone numbers, to assist customers. However, Frinoz only offers an email address, support@frinoz.com, as a means of communication. This lack of transparency is concerning and suggests they don’t want to be easily reached.
  5. Unrealistic Prices and Discounts: Frinoz entices customers with unbelievably low prices and offers like “Free Shipping on Orders Over 39|” and “Get 10% Off with the Code SAVE10.” Scammers often use such tactics to lure unsuspecting shoppers into purchasing low-quality or counterfeit goods.
  6. Copied Content: Frinoz’s website contains stolen content and product images from legitimate online stores such as Alibaba, Amazon, and AliExpress. This lack of originality and credibility is a clear indication that Frinoz is trying to deceive customers with fake products.
  7. Weak Social Media Presence: Frinoz promotes its products through a Facebook page called “Frinoz-FZ.” However, their low-quality content and minimal following raise doubts about their legitimacy. Legitimate stores typically have a strong social media presence to engage with customers and build trust.
  8. Customer Complaints: While Frinoz doesn’t display genuine customer feedback or testimonials on its website, there are numerous complaints from dissatisfied customers. Complaints include poor quality products, incorrect sizing, lengthy shipping times, and unauthorized charges on credit cards.

Is Frinoz Legit or a Scam?

Considering all these above red flags, it’s evident that Frinoz is a scam website. Customers have reported not receiving their orders or receiving inferior products. Additionally, contacting Frinoz for refunds or exchanges proves difficult due to unresponsive email addresses.

What To Do If You’ve Shopped On Frinoz?

To protect yourself from scams like Frinoz, follow these steps:

  • Contact Your Bank or Credit Card Company: If you’ve made a payment with your credit or debit card, inform your bank or financial institution immediately. Request to cancel the transaction and initiate a refund. Also, report Frinoz as a fraudulent site and ask them to block any future charges from it.
  • Change Your Passwords: If you’ve created an account on Frinoz or used the same password for other accounts, change your passwords immediately. Enable two-factor authentication for added security.
  • Beware of Phishing Emails: Be cautious of emails claiming to be from Frinoz or related sources offering order updates, discounts, or refunds. Delete these emails and avoid clicking on any suspicious links or downloading attachments.
  • Avoid Installing Unverified Apps: Frinoz may ask you to download apps for direct support or other questionable offers. Do not install any applications they suggest, as they could contain viruses or trojans designed to compromise your personal information.
  • Report the Scam: File a report with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) providing evidence and communication records to help protect others from falling victim to the same fraudulent company.

Tips For Secure Online Shopping On New Websites

Here are the tips for secure online shopping on new websites:

1. Do your research. Before you shop on a new website, take some time to research its reputation and customer feedback. You can read online reviews, check social media, or even contact the company directly. This will help you get a sense of whether the website is legitimate and trustworthy.

2. Look for a secure connection. When you’re shopping on a new website, make sure that the connection is secure. This means that the website’s URL should start with “https” and there should be a padlock symbol in the address bar. This indicates that your personal information is encrypted and protected from hackers.

3. Read the reviews. Once you’ve found a website that seems reputable, take some time to read the customer reviews. This will give you an idea of what other people have experienced when shopping on the website. If you see a lot of negative reviews, it’s best to avoid the website altogether.

4. Understand the return policy. Before you make a purchase, make sure you understand the website’s return policy. This will protect you in case you’re not happy with your purchase. Most reputable websites offer a money-back guarantee or a free return policy.

5. Use a secure payment method. When it comes time to pay for your purchase, use a secure payment method that offers buyer protection. This could be a credit card, PayPal, or a trusted online payment service. These payment methods will help protect you in case your credit card information is compromised.

6. Safeguard your personal information. When you’re shopping on a new website, only provide the necessary personal information. This includes your name, email address, shipping address, and credit card number. Don’t provide any additional information that you don’t feel comfortable sharing.

By following these tips, you can help protect yourself from online fraud and ensure that your online shopping experience is safe and secure.
